Anyone else from Detroit or the tri-county area following him lately? I nearly fell over when I saw that he was at a Trump event. I imagined that the relationship would end with the pardon.
So many had high hopes for Kilpatrick and it was sad to find out how he squandered his opportunity to turn things around in Detroit but then screwed the city. |
Who? |
Kwame was the mayor of Detroit but was imprisoned for crimes then pardoned by Trump. |
Wow, he might be the perfect "Yes Sir" VP for Trump.
A corrupt former Democrat from Detroit. Trump would pick him just to troll the Democratic Party. |
Who knows if he was truly guilty or not. Nevertheless, his gratefulness to Trump is a huge plus to his character. Only a scum wouldn’t be endlessly grateful. |
Kwame was completely guilty. He robbed Detroit blind. He is despised in Detroit. |
Trump granted him clemency, though, because political corruption doesn’t matter to Trump. |
Maybe he just thought Kwame deserved a second chance? |
Interested to see how this develops. Is Trump making a play for more Blak (male) voters? |
It's "black". |
Wow, I had not considered that. I don’t think that would happen. Kwame’s fall from grace was huge. There may be some people who will forgive him but they will never trust him. |
I think 95% of this country has no idea who Kwame is. And does anyone trust Trump? LOL. Even his voters know he is untrustworthy....that's why they like him! |
Kwame’s story won’t sit well with most voters if he were asked to fill the VP spot. Then again, I guess in some regards they make a good pair. |
I see your covert racism. Gross. |
95% of the country didn’t know who Mike Pence was either. |
