Any thoughts? Does that natters if it is indoor or oyydoor? Is this more for boy or girl or neutral sports? |
Anything can be dangerous. That's what makes life interesting and fun. |
They wear helmets and run around. I think it’s one of the safest options for team sports! |
I don’t see why it would be more dangerous than tennis or soccer. Street hockey doesn’t even involve skates. |
It's dangerous if kids don't know about high-sticking. My son was almost blinded by street hockey. |
Wear a helmet! |
(With a cage obviously) |
Less dangerous than lacrosse. |
When my son played, it looked to me to be very slow-going. But all the kids were good friends and checking each other was kind of bumping each other shoulder-to-shoulder, and goalies were in charge of yelling "car!" for the direction they were facing. |
Only for the cars and homes nearby |
My son plays on a street hockey league and loves it! Relatively safe sport if you wear the helmet and shin guards and elbow pads. He has played for years and I have never seen anyone with a serious injury. Kids can fall pretty easily or get hit with a stick or the ball. No one on any of the teams ever has injuries that take them out of the entire game. They might sit out for a few minutes and then they are back in. |
My kid plays both indoors and outdoors and the team is co-ed. The best defense player is a girl and the other teams are afraid of her. Lol.
Pretty safe. |
