Which Real Housewives is best?

Starter here. I want some mindless entertainment and never saw any Real Housewives before. Which one is best? What should i start with and are they all good?

Really tough to jump in now. I'd honestly go back and watch some historical seasons. NYC ten years ago was great.

I'm gonna be honest - the Millennial housewives are all kinda lame and boring.

They are all different in terms of vibes.

I really like NYC, Beverly Hills and OC.

4. Dallas (controversial!)
5. Potomac
6. Salt Lake City
7. getting hit by a bus
8. DC
9. OC

I don't watch Jersey so can't tell you where to slot it in.

New Jersey is definitely up there esp early seasons. Probably number 1.

NYC, but start with season 1. You can turn it off when Leah arrives.

First 1-2 seasons of Jersey are a hoot, then gets depressing.

They all have very different vibes and all have down seasons.

Peak RHONY (original cast) is my #1 favorite. RHOBH is fun for the lifestyle and glamour. RHOLSC is the best recent addition.

RHOA and RHONJ and to some extent RHOP are too over the top for my personal taste. Meaning the fighting and the drama and the nastiness makes it not fun. I always trail off and don't end up watching full seasons or skip seasons.

RHOC in the Brooks seasons is riveting television. I don't know which seasons but I'm sure someone can tell you.

DMV outside of this area means Dept of Motor Vehicles. DC has already been used, and cause a number of issues with regard to getting too close to politicals. Andy really wanted a second season, but they were getting subpoenaed left and right.

Calling it the RH of Arlington, NoVa (haha at this one), Montgomery County, Fairfax, Vienna, Bethesda etc doesn't have the same ring.

Original RHOC was so, so good. They were all so naive and the show had a totally different feel.

RHNY has one of the greatest casts ever. They do suck as people.

RHOA is hilarious. RHOP is really fun if you are in the DMV.

RHNJ never got my attention until the marathons this week. Vintage is almost always better with these.

RHSLC is kind of sad because they all knew the game way too well, still some funny moments and characters.

RHOD was funny too.

Beverly Hills but only the first couple of seasons. By definition LA doesn’t have classy women, but rather wanna be celebrities, so the “high society” of RHWBH is spot on. No society woman from any of the other cities would be caught dead on reality tv, so the shows are false advertising. Atlanta and Jersey are funny but those aren’t socialites to say the least. I like NY for some of the fashion and Bethany is funny in small doses.
