Another semaglutide availability question

Anonymous
Are any of the semaglutides consistently available? I’ve been on Wegovy and Zepbound in the past and both worked well for me, but I had to stop because of supply chain problems.

I’d like to get on one and stay on it. Is there any way to get consistent access without going the compounding route? Any of the brands more reliably available than others? Thanks

Presumably you are diabetic. Don’t you have to stay on it?

I’ve been able to reliably get Wegovy 2.4 from Wegmans in Fairfax.

Why do people keep asking this? Wegovy and Zepbound are for weight loss. OZempic and Mounjaro are for diabetes.

If you can get your doctor to move you back to the starter dose of zepbound, you may be able to find it.

My diabetic relative on mounjaro is having a hard time getting it. Had to stretch out time between doses.

I haven’t had a problem getting Ozempic.

You can also get them off label for weight loss. It’s the same drug.

If your relative is prescribed Mounjaro, that relative was prescribed if for obesity.

Mounjaro and Zepbound are the same medication...with Mounjaro as the name for diabetes and Zepbound for obesity. It's literally the branding that is the only actual difference. https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/08/health/zepbound-mounjaro-fda-approval-obesity/index.html

I understand that. Also, if your relative is prescribed Mounjarao, that relative was prescribed it for obesity. What they are having trouble getting is the compound packaged and sold for obesity.

Maybe, but there is a "all of these drugs are only for diabetics" troll who posts constantly AND wegovy and zepbound are for obesity, hence, diabetes troll needs to zip it.

NP: No, you don't understand it. If the relative was prescribed Mounjaro and is having difficulty finding it, the relative was prescribed it because she is diabetic and is having trouble getting Mounjaro, which is the one packaged and sold for diabetes. If you took what you wrote above and replaced your word Mounjaro with the word Zepbound then you would be correct.

You misspelled diabetes.

Any luck finding zepbound recently? Which dose?

Debating whether I should switch to compounding.
