| DH and I have a short trip coming up that is a mix of work and pleasure. He needs to be in Arlington for work, and I need to be in Rockville. Where would you stay in between? We’re planning to mostly take the metro and avoid car rental, if possible. |

I'd do this. Some nice restaurants on Penn, and I think fewer homeless in that area. |

What is your budget?
I would stay at St Regis Downtown. Or Ritz Tysons and just Uber to Rockville. Outside of rush hour, not a big deal. |
