In Boundry High Schools?

Anonymous
I have a friend moving to DC with a rising 10th grader. If she finds a place in boundary for Jackson Reed, her child can go there right? Or CHEC if she lives in Columbia Heights?

When she's asked the schools, they say they have waitlists. But if they live in boundary, the school has to take the kid right?

CHEC is an application school, not a boundary school.

It's actually both. And tell your friend to go in boundary for Jackson Reed if she can. It's a surer bet than the others.

Tell your friend to go to https://www.myschooldc.org. Lots if info on schools, rules, etc.
