Places for tea for 3 generations

For much less than $76 per person, which is what it costs at the Ritz in pentagon city. This is for grandma, mom, and 7 year old. We live in Arlington but can drive a bit. Thank you!

That seems to be the going rate wherever you go. IMO it’s much cheaper and more fun to throw your own tea party. Cucumber sandwiches, clotted cream, scones, caviar, smoked salmon, pastries, tea. Not difficult.

Who is going to make all that food? Or even if you buy it, that's a lot of running around to get it all together. Not easy or cheap.

Agree on Camila’s! I also take my young daughters to tea at the American Girl cafe at Tyson’s but that’s much more kid-centric / will probably be less enjoyable for you!

Camilla’s is great. Just went with my 4.5 year old and she adored it. It’s not on their website but they do have a kids full tea for $40 that has the same things as the adult menu but also some more kid friendly sandwiches like strawberry jam and cream cheese, Nutella, etc. We ended up doing tea for two on a weekday ($56 full tea for one + $25 to make it tea for two) because it was more cost effective and the waitress let us sub in a kid sandwich into our choices. It’s not the caliber of the Ritz by any means but it’s decent and fun.

Also heard good things about mocatinos in Leesburg as recommended above but it was a bit of a drive for us.

Strathmore has a great tea in Kensington. Right at the Grosvenor Strathmore metro stop.
