11 daus in Utah parks at end of August

We will be in the Utah parks at the end of August (I know, it will be insanely hot). What are things we should book or get on lotteries or lists for now? We will be in Zion area for 2 nights and Moab for 5 nights (and maybe Paige for 1-2 nights). Aside from hotels, I haven't booked anything yet. Kids are 8 and 10.

Angels Landing is a lottery. But I wouldn't take and 8 or 10 year old to the top ... you can go most of the way without the lottery.

What are you doing in Moab that necessitates 5 nights? TBH, unless you're doing some serious off roading and/or major hiking, there isn't much to do beyond 2 or 3 days. You can do Arches in a half day if you're not doing major hikes (you need a reservation to get in FYI) and Canyonlands can also be done in a half day unless you're doing some 4x4'ing.

Spend a day in Bryce on the way to Moab.

You'll need to prebook a pass to get into Arches.

Do Navajo nation stuff - Mounment Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, etc. You’ll want to be on the water.

Navajo Nation has some really cool sites and their own accommodations.

But yeah, it will be brutally hot.

We did a Family Canyoneering day with Zion Adventures that was super fun.

We rode horses down Bryce Canyon which we really enjoyed.

Do not hike Angel's Landing with kids that young. You can hike up to Scouts Lookout if you want, but you would have to start very early because it is steep and you will be hot.

You could do a just a little bit of The Narrows to cool off.
