SMS spam from BoE on Remind

Started getting SMS spam from BoE, via Remind today. Got 5 copies of an announcement
of a "weekly BoE newsletter" announcing non-events like them congratulating their friends for being awesome.

Interfering with my communication with my kid's school is not the way to get reelected, jerks.

Gaahh! And I'm signed up for text messages, too, so I'm getting it by both Remind notifications and texts!

But it's not "spam," it's a standard message with either a technical glitch or a stupid human error. Hoping they've remedied it now.

I got seven texts and six emails. They used to send duplicate messages multiple times almost every time. I hope we’re not going back to that.

4 texts and 4 emails for a combined 8 messages in a matter of minutes. Very MCPS!

Teachers got the spam as well.
I don’t want Remind messages. I hate Remind.

MCPS already sends out way too many crap emails. Now we get a barrage of texts.
What is wrong with these people?

Remind will be the only approved communication app going into next school year. No more Class Dojo or other messaging tool per the MCPS tech office.

My youngest graduated in 2023, and I also received multiple text messages today
