We are looking for a Catholic parish (and possibly school) in the Bethesda/Kensington area. Seeking information on the types of people at these parishes, particularly in terms of: religiosity, class, race, education levels, politics, and interest in social concerns.

St John the Evangelist on Georgia Ave? We are there. It was founded by Hispanic immigrants and maintains a strong tie to that community with Spanish language Masses. Most families live nearby-ish, which is great for community. People are down to earth, honestly diverse. No one seems Bethesda-level of wealthy.
