Wayside Elementary School

I am looking to a buy a house in Potomac and want to learn more about Wayside elementary. Specifically:

- What are the neighborhoods nearby or zoned to the school lot? Is this a small community feel where it's easy for the kids to play together or walk to school together?
- Is there anything I should know about the school in advance? Anything particularly good or bad? Or anyone have particularly positive or negative experiences?

You can find the zoning online, but it’s basically the areas north of Falls Rd, east and west of Glen Rd.

The school itself is very new (5 years old maybe?) and has a great, close-knit community. Parents generally love it.

Highly recommend joining the neighborhood pool as well (Country Glen) - it’s a great place to meet people, become part of the community, etc.
