We are having a two day department offsite at a local hotel next week.
Coworker says “so we will essentially be working 36 hours in 3 days-does that mean 4 hours on Friday?” |
Dumb remark. Offsite meetings are a fact of life. |
That depends on whether you are exempt or non-exempt |
I'm confused. How does a two day offsite mean 36 hours in 3 days and 4 hours on Friday? |
You arent billing the time you sleep or are not with your coworkers. Thats not how it works. |
Every minute that you are forced to be at a place not of your choosing, away from your family and personal life, ought to count as paid or comp time. |
Your coworker is an infant. Hopefully you see it differently OP and maybe you can help him/her grow up. |
This is so blue-collar, I can't even |
Sure. But that’s not how the world works. |
