Gift ideas for 12-13 year old girls

Anonymous
I wanted to buy a small gift for two girls that come and play with my son in the afternoon (like mothers helpers). I would like to stay below $30 each. What’s a good idea?
TIA

Girls can be so different at that age. Mine is sporty and not really girly. She’d love anything soccer or dog themed. They do all seem to like keychains you they can put on their backpacks or lunchbox.
Some like art stuff still, or bracelets, earrings, Target has a lot of that kind of stuff for tweens.

Thank you! How about this?

Those are cute but it's fleece and we are headed into summer.

We all know a lot in that age group love Sephora. Target also carries sol de janiero hair and skin products. My 12 year olds old doesn’t wear makeup but loves the smell of their shampoos and conditioners and moisturizer for skin. They usually have cute little mini packets for around $30. They actually do smell nice.

I’m the PP with the sporty tween. She’d probably like this. Not sure what she would put in it but she would appreciate it as a gift.

No lululemon - some parents really don’t want to go there

Some perceive it to be materialistic and others don’t want to start their kids on wanting other pieces of the brand

Sephora makeup and skincare
Kendra Scott necklaces
Lululemon dupes
Clearance Nike hoodies/sweatshirts
CDs/vinyls if they have a record player of popular music (Taylor Swift)

Give them cash! Kids love money and then they can get what they want.

All good ideas here. Except I don't like the fleece belt bags. Regular one would be good.
