suggest playdates

I want to plan playdates, and our house is off limit. We don't mind paying money for activities, and I need fun ideas that can encourage close friendship 1:1. Playground seems kind of lame for 2nd grader boy. For indoor playground, I can't guarantee that they will play together since they go off one spot to next spot. Movie is boring, and I hate video game. We don't have video game at home. What do 2nd garder boy do for playdate?

My 3rd grader loves playground play dates or any kind of park.

You could also do bowling, arcade, trampoline place, ice or roller skating, rock climbing, etc. Anything active is typically a hit

We typically do play dates at home, but I have a few ideas. My 2nd grader likes bowling, arcades, and the trampoline park. The first two still give them a chance to interact a good deal— maybe not trampoline park as much, but it’s still a fun activity.

If your kid and his friends like sports, you could take them to a park to play basketball, football, kickball, etc. My kid will also still play at a playground, but he has younger siblings and usually only does it when we’re with another family that also has mixed age kids.
