Heights for 3-8th and then trans

Looking for the experience of someone who went to the heights for lower and/or middle school but decided to move on to another high school (prep, Gonzaga, st. Albans, etc).
What made you apply out for 9th and was it a good move? I realize there aren’t very many who do this… |
