I have two of these in my suburban garden right by the perimeter fence and hedge. Their shade is causing the privacy hedge to underperform.
Questions: 1) any reason to have two instead of one? 2) will these be a nightmare come July/august? Or can I actually harvest them without attracting animals/insects? |
1. No, unless you want to extend the season, one ripen in July and one in August.
2. Not sure about your area, but I have so many problems with stone fruit without spraying, mostly plum curculio, brown rot, and squirrels. Good luck. |
