K-wire in foot and going for an MRI of that foot

I have ancient k-wire in my foot, dating back to a childhood injury in the 90s. I'm pretty sure that it's stainless steel. Now, I'm going in for an MRI of the same foot.

I've had MRI's before with no problem but they weren't foot focused. Anyone BTDT?

My orthopedist ordered the MRI knowing about my foot hardware. I told the MRI people but they are assuming titanium for some reason. I've called to double check this.

Anyone BTDT with k-wire?
