Home laser hair removal - newbie questions

Anonymous
I bought the Brown home laser but am a bit afraid to use it. I have olive/white skin and dark hair but also moles, some veins and sometimes bruises from running around with little kids.

Is it safe to use the device on my skin? I have a white kohl pencil to cover the darkest moles but what about bruises and other areas of (lighter) discoloration?

Any experiences, tips, warnings would be much appreciated!

PS Also, what about tanned skin?

Anyone?

Do you mean the Braun? Yes I use it on my skin when it’s tan and on moles. If the contrast of skin color to hair isn’t enough, it won’t pulse when you push the button. Just go for it and try it out!

Not OP, but also interested in perspectives on the Braun at home hair removal thing. I had professional laser hair removal and some of the hair is growing back (it's been 1.5 years and I haven't had any touch ups). I'm thinking doing it at home may be more cost efficient than getting touch ups, especially since I can use it on other body parts!

The Braun didn't really work for me. It thinned it a bit whited helped prevent ingrown hairs, but I'm now debating professional lasering.
