I thought it was pretty lame/bad. True that the teen girl set likes it . . . but nice to go to a show that both moms and daughters would like . . .

I loved it, and so did my adult friends, so OP may enjoy it too.

The question is which musical other than SIX because that's the one she'll actually want to see, and probably enjoy the most.

If you haven't seen Lion King or Wicked, those are the next ones on my list. Then whatever appeals.

I saw this recently and didn’t like it much, but I think my 15 year old would have loved it.

We both enjoyed Six.

Loved Kimberly Akimbo, but I think that just ended or is ending. Easily the best show I’ve seen in a couple years.

Not helpful for OP, but it's coming to the national theater this season! I really enjoyed it.

What is your background in terms of how much theater you've seen or enjoy? Different answer if you're a regular theater goer. There are more generally accessible Broadway shows and then more "theater" Broadway shows.

Six is great. All the adults I know who saw it loved it.
