Perimenopause urinary incontinence and spotting

Anonymous
Anyone else? I don’t have many other symptoms of peri but I do have urinary incontinence issues and it seems like there is a small amount of spotting for weeks now, with a heavy period in the middle of all that. I’m 51.

Is this something to see primary car physician, gynecologist or urologist about? PCP prescribed drug for the urinary issue (before spotting became an issue) but it works subtly at best.

Vaginal estrogen for the incontinence. It cured mine.

I went on BC for the spotting. They will probably want to make sure you have had a TVUS first to rule out fibroids as a spotting cause because BC won't cure that.
