Culpeper is considered Northern Virginia

Northern Virginia Wine Country sign in Culpeper was interesting to see. I know Fredericksburg is part of NOVA now so I now assume Culpeper is as well!

There's no real wine country in the close-in nova countries, so that's Culpepper's branding. They want that Loudoun shine.

Op here. I know quite a few Government colleagues commuting from Fredericksburg and Stafford, they are both definitely NOVA.

In no way, shape or form is Culpepper considered NoVA.

Anyone who thinks it is also uses the term “DMV” to describe our region.

The only thing I have to say is that the two people I have known from Culpeper had very thick accents. We're Gen Xers, so maybe this has changed with younger generations?
