Sibling therapy is the newest kid on the psych block. How much time and money are people supposed to spend on therapy? What's next? Neighbor-Neighbor therapy? Roommate-Roommate therapy? Realtor-Buyer therapy? Facebook acquaintances therapy? Personal shopper therapy? DCUM posters therapy?

The amount of time and money spent on therapy depends on the family and their ability to pay for it. Just like any other service! If you don't have insurance or can't pay out of pocket, the decision is made easy in the United States. If you have the resources and access, you can decide to try it or not. Just like with any other medicals services, PT, tutoring, massages, etc... |

OP: "THIS NEW THING IS DUMB!" Siblings are significant figures in most people's lives who have siblings. If there is sibling discord, it makes all the ageing parents issues worse. It is in everybody's best interests to either get along or be otherwise satisfied with the level of relationship that exists. |

 It literally mentions someone with decades of experience with this. OP needs a literacy class. Therapy helps people with all interpersonal relationships.
