TJ _ DD down with fever Final Exam tomorrow

Anonymous
Dd is down with high fever and has her math final tomorrow . She is a Tj student what are our options since the test has a 20 percent weightage

I’m sorry she is ill. She should reach out to her teacher or you can if she is too sick to do so. There will be options. I hope she feels better soon.

It’s irrelevant what school she attends. She can’t go to school because she had a fever within 24 hours. She calls in sick and makes arrangements with the teacher for a makeup.

See if she can take it with another section that has the exam Tuesday.

And, I’m sorry. It is such a stressful time for students. I hope she can take it the next day and feels better soon!!

Thank you, I do not believe there is any section on Tuesday, This exam has been split between 2 days - Monday and Wednesday and she has another exam on Tuesday.

Yes it is - strange, how is this even fair considering the rampant cheating at TJ, that some kids take it today and some over the next few days. Hope they change the questions?

1) Cheating is just part of what you signup for when your child attends TJ. #hardbuttruefacts

2) Your CHILD needs to be reaching out to the teacher. Not you!

How are kids cheating now? Are there really kids that take Tues and tell other kids all answers for when other kid takes on Wed? Given the discussions on competitiveness, this doesn’t seem likely scenario.

Yes this is happening and very much

Admitting Algebra 1 students from lower-tier middle schools and expecting them to perform at the same level as peers who are two years ahead from top-tier middle schools is a recipe for cheating to occur. Can you all keep this hush hush, please.

This is exactly what is happening
