Confused about doing HRT with endometriosis

I am 45 years old and feel I am starting to have symptoms of perimenopause (such as anxiety, sleeplessness, weight gain, and elevated cholesterol level). My OBGYN prescribed me an estradiol .05mg patch. I also have the Mirena IUD for my endometriosis. Has anyone used the estradiol patch with endometriosis? I thought we shouldn't be increasing estrogen with endometriosis but maybe it's okay if it's a small amount? My endometriosis symptoms are much better now after two surgeries and Mirena so I am unsure about starting this patch. Appreciate any insight.
