Suggestions for a birthday venue (adult sister)

Anonymous
My sister is turning 40 this year and I want to put together a really nice birthday for her this year.

She is an amazing sister, daughter, and mom to her special needs child and she absolutely more than deserves a special celebration just for her.

Hard and fast requirements:
1. Partly or fully indoor space (more than just 4 white walls would be great!)

2. Family friendly for kids

Nice to have things:
1. Great scenery

2. Outdoor and indoor spaces to freely move between

3. Ability to bring our own food (vs a required caterer)

My sister and my brother-in-law enjoy breweries and a winery could probably also work.

The space definitely needs to be family friendly for their friends who will bring their children.

But it doesn't have to be alcohol based, though, of course!

Ideally we'd find a place that has a nice mix of folks being able to move between the indoor air conditioned space to outside as they please.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

Do you have a clubhouse in your neighborhood? Everything on your list checks for the clubhouse in my HOA. If you don't have one, maybe someone you know does.

Newer neighborhoods have really nice ones and are generally low-cost to rent for homeowners. I was planning to have my dad's 80th birthday at my clubhouse, and it was only $300 for 4 hours. I decided to have it at his house instead since I live pretty far from most of the attendees.

Went to lunch at Crossvines in MoCo. It is a large venue with indoor and outdoor spaces. They may have an onsite caterer though.

Montgomery County has a ton of rental halls. Their usually located in a park with a playground nearby. Some you can have alcohol but most no. Decor and ambiance are usually nonexistent. I think one of them we considered had wood paneling inside?
