What does that mean? Looks like U12 coach is same as this year.

He’s a nut job but he gets results and some girls thrive under him. He’s now been with BSC three years. His behavior is widely known by the club and the 2012 and 2008 parents. People have differing opinions on him but enough of the top players parents like/tolerate it for him to stay. He is who he is.

Why does he get results? Are those results just winning games or also developing his players?

I am not a fan of his behavior and how he speaks to young women, and makes them feel like sh*t, but even I agree and think most would say he’s a good technical and tactical coach and that he both wins and develops players, if the player can respond to that environment.

Be prepared to be screamed at, a lot, especially during games and in front of your teammates nasty things said about you. That may work for some 10/11 year olds while others whither. And some parents deal with it and others don’t.

Bio banding was started by MLS (Red Bulls, Philly Unions, NYCFC, etc...) clubs by the way

It sounds as if you are not familiar with the state of U.S. soccer. Please name a club in the ECNL that doesn't focus on winning.

Actually both. The 2008 team was in shambles before he took over. He developed the team and individual players and now they have a chance at making it to nationals. There are other clubs and leagues to focus on if you just want to focus on pure development.

This sounds like trolling coming from an overly sensitive helicopter parent.

Not even. He lost almost half the ecnl2 squad whose parents decided it wasn't worth the damage to their kids. Those who have earned an ecnl 1 spot are too worried about their kid losing a spot to complain to the board.

He doesn't coach the second team. If you want to go a different path, why are you complaining here? Go a different path.

He does this year. At most clubs there is a huge difference in talent and commitment between first and many second team players, which perhaps explains the different responses here.

The 2008 girls didn't have talent until they came over as a group.

The 2008 team was in shambles until players played appropriate ages and they got new talent in.

It wasn't development.
