What does Cozumel offer (if you are already in PDC)?

Anonymous
Staying in Playa Del Carmen in town, on the beach. Went there once 20 years ago. My memory was that we walked around Cozumel a little, did some crappy snorkeling (damaged, bleached out coral and disrespectful other travelers kicking the coral).

Maybe we didn’t know enough then?

Would there be a good reason to visit Cozumel, or is it highly skippable, as my memory thinks it is?

That's why we're going. Much better things to see and do under the water than on land.

I don't know - we loved Cozumel but it was because our hotel had great snorkeling right on the property line and it was just so peaceful to hang out and walk out to snorkel at any time.

Which resort was this? Did you overall like the resort?

We usually take the ferry over and go to Mr. Sanchos Beach club for the day. Beautiful white sand beach with no seaweed and crystal clear water.

Afterwards we head over to Money Bar. Right on the beach and they have live music performances.

Water can be rough in the ferry for people who get seasick
