Why is Jon Bon Jovi making the rounds about his bad behavior?

Anonymous
I read celeb news websites and I see his name popping up about ‘bad behavior’ in his marriage and other times in his life.
Why do you he think he is giving this press now?
Just curious what you think, DCUM.

He cheated?

He’s promoting his Hulu documentary. My guess they’re hoping these “revelations” will help drive traffic to it? I’m going to watch, but only because I was a die hard JBJ fan.

I feel bad for his wife though. She must have thick skin!

I was confused about his comments. Did he admit cheating or was cheating "not worth it"?

"I got away with murder. I say it again on camera," he added. "I'm a rock and roll star. I'm not a saint. You know, I'm not saying that, that there weren't a hundred girls in my life. I'm Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good."

Despite all the attention he received from being in the spotlight, Jon Bon Jovi said they weren't worth being entertained.

"If you think I was ever gonna jeopardize anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do," he said. "What kind of excess does a man need that's gonna fuel that fire. It is just not worth it. Not worth it."

I think he didn’t age well and never produced any good music as a solo, so he’s trying to rewrite history and make himself relevant while getting paid.

Bon Jovi basically had one (maybe two) big albums. He’s lucky he was able to protect his fortune.

If he’s publicly trying to relive his bad boy days with stories to make money, then I feel sorry for his wife and children. What a little turd of man.

People really don't understand the temptations that exist for celebrities like JBJ on the road. I guarantee you the wives have agreements, she can either live happily as the Mrs. JBJ or be single.

George Harrison's widow explains it well in "Living in a Material World" on HBO.

It’s true I think that most rockstar wives have agreements that the men can fool around a bit. Dave Grohl seems very happily married and absolutely gushes about his wife and family in his book, which is excellent by the way. But if you go on reddit it seems he sleeps around with other women all the time and they just have an arrangement.

I do think some stray more than others though.

This is a really naïve question, but when you say it temptations that rockstar face, so are there just like young women fans who just want a chance to sleep with the celebrity even even though they know it’s not going to lead anywhere? Again I know that’s probably a dumb question. I just have trouble getting into that mindset. I’m guessing drugs and alcohol fuel 90% of what goes on.

Speaking of driving and traffic, I stopped at the Jon Bon Jovi rest stop in NJ a few weekends ago. A+ would stop again. Even better than the James Gandolfini rest stop.

Haha - I drove by that one recently too. There is also a new Whitney Houston one.

what kind of idiot would think he'd actually be faithful? he's basically stating the obivious, and does anybody really care?

She has skin cream made of $100 bills. She's fine.

What? Most people look the other way after awhile, married to a celebrity. The attention and temptation thrown at them is insane

Maybe he saw how much praise and support and adoration Taylor Swift has gotten for admitting to cheating. He just needs to say it as a lyric and then people will fall all over themselves about how amazing he is and that it is fine to treat anyone anyway one wants.

You see once famous people all the time who can't let go of the spotlight. So they drum up something in hopes of being relevant again.

That, and/or, he needs the money. Who knows what their royalty deal with their label is.

Agree. He pops up every few years with some new cause or news about him. It's hard to know how sincere he is. I think he wants to stay famous and keep getting attention. Right now this is related to the doc on Hulu. Why there is a documentary on him is because he likes being famous, I think, because who really cares?
