Acro at District Dance

Has anyone done this? My DD is interested in trying but can only do basic skills like a cartwheel. Not sure what level of acrobatics skills they are looking for

Skip District Dance. You can find acro at better more responsive studios. How old is your daughter? Does she have dance experience.

Have you looked at the costuming from that place. It's disgusting. Why would you do that to your kid? Completely inappropriate and not even a good technique s hool.yuk, no.

Xtreme Acro in Rockville has great beginner classes and is very low key in terms of pressure/stress. But it's a drive from DC. Only drawback.

The costumes seem pretty typical as far as I can tell?

I’m open to other suggestions. My DD has done some casual dance (like through after school programs) which she likes but I would not say she has significant dance experience. She takes gymnastics but is not especially good and prefers dance but doesn’t want to do ballet. Looking for somewhere casual that will let an older student (10) try something new.

OP here - to clarify we are fairly far out in MOCO and can’t go into DC or downtown Bethesda regularly
