I had the opposite experience but the used car market is stronger now. I bought in 2013 give or take and in 2019 got a ridiculously low amount for only having 50k miles. I worked some math and I could have leased twice and had new cars and still been better off.
I even specifically got an offer from the dealer I bought from after two other low offers. There’s was even lower. It was Ourisman Bethesda.
