Congress run amok, yet again.
The Biden Administration has, for some time, acted against gun violence by opposing educating children on violent activities such as archery and so-called hunters safety. While the administration can’t prevent the reaching of these violent topics in private institutions, they were able, through the Department of Education, to block federal funds going to violent courses such as archery and hunters safety. In a step backwards, Congress has again meddled in administration affairs, and restored funding to programs which do nothing but encourage violence and gun-activities like hunting. This congress is the worst ever! |
When you say "Congress" what you really mean is the GOP House members.
Let's be specific in the framing, please. |
No, I meant Congress when I wrote Congress. Congress voted 424 to 1 on this. |
I think that this was the right call. I don't see how hunting, archery, and education around using these weapons responbibly is a bad thing. |
Teaching archery and hunting are good for children, OP, and good for gun safety.
The people who shoot others are not hunters. Hunters respect guns and gun safety. |
ROFL. OMG. THIS IS RICH!!!!! Biden doesn't want guns in our schools, but he's perfectly OK using US taxpayer dollars to blow up schools in Gaza. In fact, he supports it even if there are kids inside!
HAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA. Biden you so funny! |
A lot of great common sense stuff happening now: ban on non-competes, airlines held accountable for delays, now this. It's great. Maybe the extra stupidity of MAGA and now campus jihadists is making the middle ground more effective. |
How about locking up prosecuting the chimps who commit 98% of gun crimes in the US.
Our “gun violence” statistics would be less than that of Europe’s without their monkey business. |

This is such a fakeazzz troll.

Archery and hunting = violence |
I'm a tree hugging liberal. I am not a hunter. Hunters I know tend towards conservation. Without their efforts to thin deer population (for instance), our flora would be in serious trouble. People who use guns and bows for hunting aren't going around shooting up schools. |
We don't like guns, but DS loved archery. That was on the only sport he was good at in MS. Won a competition. IMO, that was a bit too far. I'm all for strict gun control, but that measure goes too far. |
Archery = violence. |
