The South is now the destination of choice for many college bound kids. Will this trend continue?

Why does it matter? Just go to a state university. |
There are a lot of state universities in the south. |
Quality of life at places like Auburn, Alabama, and George is insane. Gorgeous weather, gorgeous people. |
Normal kids aren’t looking for violence on their college campuses. Plain and simple. |
F no. Keep dreaming Trumpers! |
The reasons to go to college in the north are barely detectable. Imagine going to Tufts or SUNY-Buffalo for four years and then someone tells you, "Oh, you didn't know? You could have done the same thing, but in the sun surrounded by beautiful people." |
I do agree with this, but I can't see either of my girls going south. Maybe Florida. |
I'm not a fan of the state of reproductive healthcare in the South, and I can see it having real-life impacts on girls and boys attending colleges there. |
Where do you think that is? |
Except now it's happening in Texas https://www.cnn.com/business/live-news/columbia-yale-university-protests-04-24-24/h_219e191f2ea01e0c35daa6e1469ad04b |
I'm a winter person and I love the Northeast but this made me laugh out loud! |
Yes it is. All of the detractors and hyperbolic repro warriors can keep their crappy weather and moral superiority BS up north... you're not needed or wanted. |
Florida is special. It’s hard to be a nasty person when you have sunny skies and gorgeous beaches most of the time. That’s why we’re moving there. |
DS loves going to school in North Carolina. I think this trend will continue. |
