We may have to do two short trips instead of a longer one. |
Not sure that I'd fly anywhere for just 3-4 days. If I did, it'd probably be Boston, or I'd take the train to NYC. |
Maine. |
Direct. To a resort close to the airport where I could chill. Something easy.
Baha Mar in the Bahamas Fairmont El San Juan Charleston, SC. Boutique hotel in the city or head 30 mins to The Sanctuary at Kiawah. |
Aruba if I could get a direct flight |
I just saw a tiktok about how expensive the food there is! |
Nowhere. The effort required for air travel isn't worth 3-4 days IMO. I'd drive somewhere 3-4 hours away. |
Yes, it’s crazy expensive, but it’s a super short flight to a resort where you can stay put and relax. They have food trucks on the beach, fwiw. Those are more affordable than the full service restaurants. Most Caribbean islands are pricey when it comes to food. Only PR is reasonably priced imho if you eat off property. |
No way too far for that length trip. |
My thoughts exactly. |
Mexico City. |
Denver is a quick direct flight, and still warm without being oppressive in the summer.
I'd also look to Ontario or Toronto. |
Bermuda. 90 ish minutes from DCA or BWI. |
Bermuda. Miami. Puerto Rico.
Little Palm Island in FL if I had a huge budget. Or maybe just go to NY. |
Buffalo and rent a car to see both sides of Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake. Or Toronto or Montreal could be good. Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Omaha, St. Louis all have enough to do to make a trip of that length fun. Dulles and DCA both have direct flights to Traverse City in the summer and it's lovely. Asheville could be good. |
