Where would you fly to from the DMV for 3-4 days in the summer?

Direct. To a resort close to the airport where I could chill. Something easy.
Baha Mar in the Bahamas Fairmont El San Juan Charleston, SC. Boutique hotel in the city or head 30 mins to The Sanctuary at Kiawah. |

| Nowhere. The effort required for air travel isn't worth 3-4 days IMO. I'd drive somewhere 3-4 hours away. |

Yes, it’s crazy expensive, but it’s a super short flight to a resort where you can stay put and relax. They have food trucks on the beach, fwiw. Those are more affordable than the full service restaurants. Most Caribbean islands are pricey when it comes to food. Only PR is reasonably priced imho if you eat off property. |

Denver is a quick direct flight, and still warm without being oppressive in the summer.
I'd also look to Ontario or Toronto. |

| Buffalo and rent a car to see both sides of Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake. Or Toronto or Montreal could be good. Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Omaha, St. Louis all have enough to do to make a trip of that length fun. Dulles and DCA both have direct flights to Traverse City in the summer and it's lovely. Asheville could be good. |
