National Weather Service predicting an especially hot summer for the whole country, and wet/humid for the mid-Atlantic. Who’s ready for sweaty, swampy misery from May to October?

Great, just when my teen kid develops an intolerance to heat - she literally faints.

I guess we're going to stay in the A/C all summer.

Well, the good news is, it'll probably only be the hottest summer on record until... 2025

I pass out in the heat too. I don't expect everyone to work around me beyond providing me with a place to stay cool. I have been passing out when overheated since age 4.

I puke when overheated. So I will only go out early mornings and in the evening.

They're wrong so often I'm going to expect a cool, pleasant summer.

They also said we’d have record snow last winter. Flip a coin.

Bring it!! I work outside all year. Winter sucks. Would rather sweat than freeze any day. Hope it’s not just hype. 90’s until October would be a dream come true.

They’ll predict whatever gets them clicks on their website.

It’s all a game.

Every summer is predicted to be the hottest summer on record. It’s like a broken record.

And it never seems any different than the summer before it.

Who flippin cares anymore?

When they fall short of stats to show that it's been heating up they pull out the predictions that it's going to heat up.

Every summer usually IS the hottest summer on record lately.

Look up “urban heat island effect”.

Things really aren’t getting hotter to the extent portrayed.
