Zombie threads

It seems in the last day or two that someone is going around reviving a bunch of Zombie threads:

Any link between these the folks dredging up old threads and responding?

We are getting a lot more traffic from Google than we were previously. We just received an award from Google for getting over 1 million click throughs in a 28 day period. These users often click through to an old thread. They either don't realize it is old or they don't care. If they add on to it, as these posters did, you get a zombied thread. Not all of these revived threads are a problem. I have removed a couple of these, but left others. Sometimes the old information is still useful.
