List of private MS that would work

For a kid who has very slow processing speed and inattentive ADHD (medicated). He struggles with reading comprehension, but overall on grade level and is social (but slightly awkward) and a motivated, kind student with interests in music, theater, and sports. Will be trying public middle school next year but have a feeling that it will be too big and not enough opportunities for sports and theater. He has done public school with an IEP so far, but we think private school and outside tutoring will better prepare him for college. We live in MoCo.

Sounds like a Mclean or Nora school kid.

Recommend calling and asking them. Some mainstream privates have offices and learning specialist that integrate ND kids, but even then the lack of transparency and accountability compared to public may be insufficient. Some have a very low tolerance and won't differentiate instruction. Others have very experienced teachers who enjoy the diversity. Generally, mainstream can handle medicated ADHD.
