Sport clothes that cover my legs?

Anonymous
I really dislike my legs and won't wear shorts or anything shorter than a midi-skirt but am in need of clothes for golf/pickleball at a country club (I'm pretty sure straight leggings aren't allowed). I keep googling and looking for options but outside of golf pants I can't find anything suitable for both golf and pickleball that will cover my legs. Has anyone seen anything that might work or have any suggestions?

You can buy leggings that are mid-calf. Not capri looking--actual leggings. And lighter material.

I wear those instead of shorts. I stopped wearing shorts for exercise.

You can do Capri leggings under a skirt or a dress.

Have you tried looking for skirted leggings - I've seen a few women wearing them at tennis/pickleball.

I have been looking. I used to have some from Athleta, but they only came in black and they no longer sell them. The link someone just posted has a bunch of options, but the skirts are too long. I'd do the skirt/capri combo OR the long skirt when appropriate, but wouldn't want both.

So hem the skirt?

Type “skirted leggings” into Amazon.

Althleta makes “featherweight stretch” pants that I wear for all kinds of exercise. I dont get too hot in them and they look fine in different settings. You could wear them for both pickleball and golf. Get a pair in navy and get a cute Lilly Pulitzer athletic/ golf shirt to make it more fun.

I was just going to suggest this.

As a pro tip, any time you want something that has more body coverage in general, search for “modest” whatever. Then you’ll get clothes compatible with religions/cultures where people generally cover to their knees if not longer, upper arms to past the elbow, clothes that are looser fitting, etc.
