Okay, IMX scoring is during the season. So for the next IMX meet in February you can get in with a LCM score (which I assume starts now and runs through July) or a SCY which starts in September/October and runs up until a few weeks prior to the meet. Is this correct? It is not one of the meets where you can get a score this SCY season and use if for next year. |
You can use this past SC season for the store, but all the meets have to have been swum this season |
^^ Score not store. Sorry |
Imx isn’t a season, it’s a lifestyle |
bahahahahha! |
All the events have to be swim in the same season and at the same age, but the qualifying period is really wide.
But if a kid had a June 1st birthday, they couldn't combine LC times from May with LC times for June-- they'd have to start over. |
You can qualify at the younger age for the upcoming correct? |
Yes, that's correct! |
To the poster that said the season is wide. Can you explain that? |
It's a 16 month qualifying period. Full SCY, full LCM, then Sep-Jan SCY |
But all of the IMX qualifying events must occur during the same distance period. |
No-- they just have to be at the same age. If a kid had a may birthday and in August was a point shy in long course, but did the AAC January LC meet and got that extra point, they would be qualified. |
