I was just listening to the new Beyoncé album and the song Texas Hold ‘Em…there’s a line “don’t be a b—, come take it to the floor now”.
I’m so over people using using the word “b—“ to refer to someone that is weak willed, etc, (eg a punk-a$$ b——; little b—-). It’s so sexist. Why is Beyoncé buying into this? It’s disappointing. |
You are....just realizing this?
I am sincerely not trying to be rude but if you are just hearing this song now, then yes, you are in the demographic that may be offended. I love it! |
Like dude, I think b*** has lost some of its gender identification. |
Sounds like you need to take this song to heart. |
Her songs are full of these. |
Her husband has a song called 99 Problems. This is not one. |
I dunno. The word means everything from weak to strong depending on the context. Agree that I dont like how it’s used in your OP. |
