Despite trying to eat a healthy and varied diet, may be slightly deficient in a few things. Is there a brand of vitamins/supplements that you really like or stand by? Or is known to have good quality sources? |
NatureMade is a great choice:

I start in the Whole Foods aisle. I may note a couple different brands of what I’m interested in, and read up on them. Often the WF employees working in that aisle seem pretty knowledgeable. |
I buy vitamin brands that are made in the USA. |
I also buy from Whole Foods |
I have been using Megafood multivitamins for years, since I started TTC and afterwards. DH switched to them too.
New Chapter are similar to Megafood, if you want to look into those as well |
Absolutely not. I use the CVS brand vitamins because they are cheaper. But Vitamin C is vitamin C. Vitamin D is vitamin D. All of the rest is just marketing. |
Brands really do vary. |
New Chapter or Garden of Life |
My doc recommended Rainbow Light. I buy on Amazon. |
Never buy anything to ingest on amazon. Or even topicals. |
I prefer liquid vitamins. I get blood work before starting a vitamin and then blood work 3 months later to see if it makes a difference. For B12, I use complement brand. My numbers went up, so I know it was effective. It also is minimal ingredients.
