How do people in the Bay Area LIVE?

Holy crap, this echoes my own experience to the point that until you described your family, I thought I was reading something I'd posted and forgotten about!

On the bright side, when the time comes for my mom to move out of her house in the Berkeley Hills, she's gonna make a Goddamned FORTUNE!

Also from there. We could probably afford to go back, if I went back to biglaw, but just not worth it. I miss the mountains and the ocean, but I don't miss the Bay Area culture. Maybe I'll move to Wyoming...
