Would it be possible to put a sticky in the Entertainment Forum, letting everyone know that they should assume threads will contain spoilers (for movies, shows, etc.). Invariably, someone will complain about seeing "spoilers" on a thread, when the whole purpose of the forum is to discuss details of these shows! Of course there will be spoilers! I always avoid threads about a show or movie that I haven't seen yet, knowing that once I've seen it, I'll be able to join the discussion without fear of reading spoilers. That's common sense.
Thanks for considering. |
I am reluctant to create any more stickies because everyone ignores them. What would be helpful is if those creating threads that will likely have spoilers simply add "spoilers" to the the title.
I don't read many threads about movies or shows, but the complaints I get about spoilers don't normally involve already aired episodes, but rather leaks about things that haven't been broadcast yet. |
Jeff is right - nobody reads stickies. |
Ok, good points. -OP |
