It is so hard to choose a buyers agent! There are so many out there and I would love recommendations. Looking for a single family home on the smaller side in AU Park or Cleveland Park but very much open to nearby neighborhoods. Also considering Bethesda but only close in. |
Look at the seller and buyer agents on listings that have sold recently. Our small NW neighborhood has a great realtor who is on most of the transactions and plugged in w/ the neighbors, but I don't know about AU Park. There are annoying ones that come up in postings here sometimes. If you know anyone the the targeted neighborhoods they should be able to alert you pretty easily. For very competitive neighborhoods, I wouldn't hire a generalist realtor because they won't be as familiar with what's coming on the market and how the houses tend to escalate. It took us awhile to get something because our realtor wasn't specialized. |
We loved working with Rina Kunk of Compass. She knows AU Park and CP very well. She's very knowledgeable and also very relaxed (no hard selling or pressure which we liked). |
Nurit and her team.
I like working with Etay. |
I love Heather Davenport at Compass in friendship heights! Have used her for several purchases and she lives in Chevy Chase DC.

OP here - thank you all for the recommendations! Very helpful. |
Hugh McDermott at Sotheby’s, younger guy, very professional and represents his clients very well. |
Rina Kunk
Gerry Gretschel Marjorie Dick Stuart (especially for Cleveland Park) |
After meeting 3-4 agents, we finally chose to work with David Bediz, who was incredibly attentive and patient and helped us find our dream home at a great price.

Roby Thompson, highly recommend! Have done four separate real estate transactions with him. Knows the neighborhoods you desire very well. |
Only WFP or maybe TTR.
Avoid Compass |
Why do you mention his age? |
Marilyn Charity with WFP. She is THE BEST!! She knows how to win a house. |
Agree +1000! She's also very kind and accommodating. |
Why avoid Compass? |
