Is it unsauced and has been sitting in the fridge since I cooked it on Monday.
Can I freeze it? Assemble in a pasta bake and freeze? Just toss it? |
I like to make a quick lunch with leftover noodles. Saute some garlic and capers, add a little chicken stock and lemon juice. Add some bottled artichokes if you have an open bottle, throw in the pasta and let the liquids cook down while stirring. Delicious! |
Add sauce and frozen meatballs. There is also a spaghetti pie type thing you can bake from it (with sauce, chopped meat and mozzarella).
To revive the actual pasta, you can just drop it in boiling water for just a very few minutes. If you sauce it you could heat it in a microwave. |
From Monday? Toss. |
Why? |
Throw it at someone. |
Cuz it's old and cost $1.50? |
I'd probably toss it with vinaigrette, chopped veggies, artichokes, parm, and a lemon squeeze and make pasta salad. Sometimes I add croutons. Gets old after a while but good sometimes. You can also add peas, olives, sun dried tomatoes, chopped meats like salami and cheeses, whatever you like. |
Eat it for breakfast.
What type of pasta? Douse with cheese, butter, and milk and make Mac n cheese |
I did d this tonight...used broth. It was fine. |
Add lemon, oil, butter, tomatoes, olives, and garlic salt/pepper and it will come together in the microwave. |
If you don’t eat it tonight I would toss. Pasta is not safe to keep in fridge for more than a few days |
Add it too some soup like lentil soup |
Pasta? |
Pasta salad
Make a frittata with a pasta base Sautee some spinach in olive oil with garlic, throw in the pasta until it’s warm, then grate in some kind of salty cheese like machego. |
