DC was advanced in all other areas, except testing where they scored above average.

Absolutely appeal. And be very push at the school and central office. A mom at my kids' school used to brag about how non of her kids tested in but by pestering people, they were allowed into the program.
But also beware. Apparently the woman at central office who runs the program says that AAS needs to go away. So it might not be around for long. Do what many other ACPS parent do and line up tutors. |
Is it policy that they only test the NNAT once and report the same old score even in a new school year's screening? |
