The American version (not sure what you are looking for): We tried snake river - pretty inconsistent- the good ones were good, but it was a range. The tomahawk was great, but I prefer filet mignon / tenderloin which was half good half average at best.

The best place for American wagyu in ny was Japanese premium beef, but I don’t think they deliver outside the city. Try pat lafreida, another ny butcher. I have ordered prime beef delivery across the country from them and they have American wagyu on their website.

I think Wagshals butcher told me they could order it. But I have seen the 2 packs at Costco in the freezer.
