I didn’t have morning sickness, but my positive test showed the second line really dark, instantly. My bloodwork showed a higher than average amount of hCG, but that’s not a reliable indicator. My first ultrasound at 6w showed two sacs, but only one fetal pole and no heartbeats. At 7w, there was cardiac activity in both sacs.
I didn’t feel anything early on that would have indicated twins. Only because I knew there were two in there, when I was in the third trimester I realized that the baby on my left side generally didn’t kick much, but she would kick like crazy if I laid on my left side. I would apologize to her and tell her I had a baby on the other side too so she was just going to have to deal with it half the time. I could also tell when she had hiccups because there’d be spasms on my left side at regular intervals. Sure enough, after they were born, she was the one who was prone to hiccups.
OP, are you hoping for twins or afraid of twins?
