Is my yard work/landscaping job too small?

We’ve had three companies - ranging from the random guy our neighbor uses to a company whose trucks I see everywhere - to get an estimate on landscaping work. It’s probably a one or two day job - pulling out some invasive plants, pruning some bushes, and mulching. Two of the companies gave us verbal estimates and all three said they would send us formal quotes. A week later, we haven’t heard from any of them. Is it not worth their time (the verbal estimates were between $1500 and $2500)? Do they not want to deal with pulling stuff out (we get that it is a tough job and we’re willing to pay)? What else could it be?

It's just a busy time of year (the busiest really).

Just send a polite follow up.

I think 1500 to 2500 is a decent job but it is a really busy time and they can make more on plantings and larger lawn mulchings. They tend to prioritize year-round customers in our area. I would wait a few weeks and follow up. We had to book our spring clean up in january for now. Last year I forgot and they didn't have room.
