Any TJ acceptances from privates?

Anonymous
While the number of TJ applicants from privates are much lower, does anyone have any info on private school applicants into TJ?

School applied from
Accepted/waitlisted/rejected

And there you have the attrition discussed in the other thread.

Doubt it. You’ll be missing their annual battery of testing the public schools do.

Dont know many families doing this as they went private for small grade sizes and small class sizes. TJ or Blair are great stem, but the opposite.

TJ admissions do not depend on annual testing at public schools though.

If one wants to have a good chance while applying at TJ, which grade is the best time to switch from a small private to public? Middle school, or before that?

What is TJ? (Sorry to be dense, honest question)
